2. Description of Service
NextVenu is a platform that connects hosts and attendees for live, interactive talks and educational content. The Service allows users to:
- Browse and attend virtual talks and events
- Purchase tickets for premium content
- Host their own talks and monetize their expertise
- Interact with other participants through chat and Q&A
- Access recorded content
3. User Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Providing accurate and current information
- Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Host Responsibilities
If you choose to host talks on our platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate descriptions of your talks and qualifications
- Deliver content as promised to attendees
- Respect intellectual property rights
- Maintain professional conduct during all interactions
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
5. Attendee Responsibilities
As an attendee, you agree to:
- Use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise agreed
- Respect other participants and hosts
- Not record, redistribute, or share content without permission
- Follow chat and interaction guidelines
- Not engage in disruptive behavior
6. Payment Terms
For paid content and hosting services:
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe
- Ticket purchases are final and non-refundable unless specified otherwise
- Host payouts are subject to our standard processing times
- We reserve the right to modify pricing with appropriate notice
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of NextVenu. Content created by hosts remains their intellectual property, but by using our Service, hosts grant us a license to host, distribute, and promote their content on our platform.
8. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service:
- For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
- To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
- To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
- To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
- To submit false or misleading information
- To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
9. Content Moderation
We reserve the right to review, moderate, and remove content that violates our community guidelines or these terms. This includes but is not limited to:
- Inappropriate or offensive material
- Spam or promotional content
- Copyright infringement
- Misinformation or harmful content

NextVenu will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
